Learn how to film and edit like a professional filmmaker using just your smartphone or tablet by signing up for the “Smartphone & Tablet Moviemaking Made Easy” class to be offered by the Community Media Center of Marin in San Rafael on four Saturday afternoons beginning on Oct. 3, 2015.

The class will be taught by Allen Bronstein, the “iPhone Video Guru,” who helped Dick Jordan and Lee Foster put on the video for authors workshop for Bay Area Independent Publishers Association in July.

Dick highly recommends this class (he took it when originally offered this past winter) for those who want to learn how to effectively shoot and edit video using mobile devices.

The class is open to non-members of CMCM as well as its members. For more information and to sign up, go to: http://bit.ly/1Iunkc4

However, if you live in Marin, consider joining CMCM and save $60 on the class, more than enough to cover your membership fee.

Before joining, you’ll have to attend a free orientation session (August 4 or Sept. 1, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.) to learn what the organization has to offer and the type of TV programming you can produce. For more information and to register for an orientation session, go to: http://bit.ly/1MCaYWo.
