BATW Swiss Tourism Partner Takes Job in Principality of Liechtenstein

After four years of many wonderful encounters with media professionals, thrilling tv productions, unforgettable media trips and memorable events, my term in Western USA at the Swiss Consulate on Pier 17 comes to an end in July. It was a wonderful to meet so many of you at our Switzerland Tourism media events and we will miss San Francisco, the Bay Area and the positive and welcoming spirit of its people dearly. My family and I will return “back to the roots” to my home region, the Alpine Rhine Valley. I am looking forward to the new challenge and starting my new role as Head of Tourism Department at Liechtenstein Marketing on October 1. Hopefully see you soon again in the US, Switzerland or in the “Ländle”, as the people of the Principality of Liechtenstein nickname their country. Let’s keep in touch on LinkedIn.

Until my successor and new Media Relations Manager Western USA at Switzerland Tourism has been appointed, Toronto-based Media Relations Manager Americas Ursula Beamish will be the main media contact and member of BATW. Her contact information is (ursula.beamish@switzerland.com or for more information you can visit our media corner).

Thank you very much,

– Matthias
