For more than four decades, Don George has traveled the globe, visiting and writing about faraway places and the people who live there. Many of us know Don from the annual Book Passage Travel Writers & Photographers Conference he co-founded, or his many articles, books, tours, and writing workshops.
In An Evening with Don George, he shares some highlights from his many trips, as well as his personal journey, from poet and teacher to travel writer and editor, with stops along the way at some of the 90 countries and six continents he’s visited. It’s an adventurous journey of change and acceptance with a smattering of serendipity, the basis for his rich and well-traveled life.
