Pandemic Postpones BATW Writers' Social

The  wine-tasting and mixer at Brooklyn West Winery in Oakland on Tuesday, April 7^th from 5:30 to 7:30 has been postponed in the wake of new Coronavirus mandates .
Where: Brooklyn West Winery, 201 3^rd Street, Oakland
When: New date TBD
Parking: There tends to be plenty of street parking near the winery – and there’s a garage around the corner, the Jack London Market Garage, 255 2^nd.
Public Transit: From San Francisco, the Alameda Ferry stops at Jack London Square, and it’s a ten-minute walk from there to the winery. The nearest BART station is Lake Merritt, about 15 minutes by foot from it.
 
The well-reviewed Oaxacan restaurant Nido is a couple of blocks away. If anyone wants to grab a bite afterwards, please let Alec Scott, alec@alecscott.com, know and, if we have enough people interested, he’ll book a table. (A walk-in place, they need a party of eight before they’ll reserve space.)
