BATW’s February Meeting is on a Tuesday evening and includes free beer and a private tour of Anchor Brewery – America’s first and oldest craft brewery. Get a glimpse at centuries-old craft brewing traditions, a taste of San Francisco history, and a flight of select Anchor beers. Anchor Brewery still makes beer by hand in beautiful copper wheelhouses.

Tables will be reserved for BATW members. Frank Grizzly’s Cali-style Mexican food pop-up is providing dinner but members must pay for their selection.

Here’s the schedule:

  • 5:00 p.m. Meet at Anchor’s Public Taps for dinner. Tables will be reserved for BATW members. Frank Grizzly’s Cali-style Mexican food pop-up is providing dinner but members must pay for their selection. Beer is free. While we dine we’ll hear from a speaker representing California Freelance Writers Against AB5.

  • 6:00 Walk across the street for our private tour of the Anchor Brewery, a beautiful art deco building formerly home to a coffee roastery.

Location is 495 De Haro Street, in the San Francisco Potrero Hill neighborhood.
Limited street parking is available in the neighborhood. Potrero Hill is only accessible by Muni or car or taxi-no cable car or streetcars and not anywhere near BART but SFMTA.com has other mass transit information.
