Recap: Zoom Event Highlights Hidden Compass

One of the unexpected bonuses of COVID-19 is our increased ability and willingness to connect virtually.
So it was on a sunny Saturday afternoon we were able to host a Zoom meeting bringing together the cofounders of Hidden Compass—Sabine Bergmann and Sivani Babu—and 20+ members of BATW.
The two spoke to us remotely about their respective backgrounds, the impetus to create the site, and what the future will likely bring to the online publication.
After an insightful look into their editorial goals and expectations, Ms. Bergmann and Ms. Babu answered questions from our members and responded to inquiries about possible pitches.
