Ruth Carlson’s article on shaking off cabin fever ran in January in Bay Area Parent MagazineCarlson used her expertise as the author of the book Secret San Francisco: a guide to the weird, wonderful and obscure (coming out later this year) to write about fun, educational places to go in the Bay Area.

Susan Alcorn and Inga Aksamit were recently featured in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat’s Lifestyle section. The article, “It’s never too late to hit the trail according to these women,” includes quotes from Alcorn’s book, Walk, Hike, Saunter: Seasoned Women Share Tales and Trails and comments and photos of Aksamit and Alcorn.

Mike Bernhardt has published a new book of poems, essays and images by 83 contributors who share their journeys through loss, grief, and transformation. Voices of the Grieving Heart, first published in 1994 is more than just an anthology of poetry, it is a companion on the darkest road many will ever have to travel: grieving the death of a loved one.

Ginny Prior has joined MyWineRadio to produce West Coast Travel Minutes. The program is a 60 second feature (airs at 9 and noon daily) on one of the many California destinations for a vacation or staycation. MyWineRadio is a streaming radio station serving all of California and California Wine Country.

Judith Horstman, John Williamson, Carole Terwilliger Meyers and Ginny Prior all have articles and/or photos in the March issue of Piedmont Living Magazine. The Magazine is home delivered in print form (not online).
