Rachel Dinbokowitz is the public relations manager for Monterey County CVB, sharing unique stories that inspire wanderlust to locations including Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, Big Sur, Carmel Valley and more. With more than 12 years of experience doing tourism public relations on both coasts, she is one of the travel industry’s biggest champions. The key to her success has been relationship building – responding quickly to media needs, looking for new/unique story angles and genuinely caring about her connections. She’s been a member of SATW since 2013, PRSA Travel & Tourism Section since 2008, and currently involved in both the Central Coast Tourism Council and Destinations International…and now BATW!
In 2019, she decided to leave her East Coast roots and begin an epic adventure doing PR for Monterey County, with previous PR gigs including representing Marriott International brands Gaylord National Resort and AC Hotels, as well as a 5-year stint in Chocolatetown, USA (Hershey Entertainment & Resorts).
In her free time, she enjoys visiting the sea otters and harbor seals in the Monterey Bay, trying out new restaurants, grabbing a craft beer or glass of wine at a nearby tasting room and finding a quiet spot on the beach to read or paint.
