Professional Development:
“A well-crafted picture is worth a thousand words”
How often have you been at a loss for words and clicked your camera or iPhone on to gather inspiration for an article? The well-used phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” still has significant meaning in the digital blogosphere age, especially for the ten-second reader. Within the quick-click world, a good picture or video placed in a social media position can be the difference between being read and not read. We will explore Video, Instagram, iPhone photo processing with Snapseed and camera-to-phone links that allow you, while on assignment, to gather material for your eventual blog or print article. If you don’t have the Snapseed app on your phone, please download it before the July meeting. Here’s some details of this fantastic app: Snapseed is a complete and professional photo editor developed by photo gurus at Nik Software (acquired by Google 5 years ago.) It is available as a free download at the App store or $4.99 for the professional version.
Presenters will be John SundsmoLee Daley and Carole Terwilliger Meyers.
