Erin Deinzer (BATW, SATW) has had another article published in the most recent issue of Mount Baker Experience on the World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, AK titled, “Ice, Ice, Baby,” Erin experienced the festival during a sponsored trip to the area but gained further insight into the competition by interviewing a top female carver. Elaine Lee is a finalist for the Bessie Coleman lifetime achievement award. the award is bestowed by the largest women’s travel organization in the country, Wanderful. the awards ceremony is in May in New York City. Elaine also has an article on Road Scholar’s website detailing a trip she took recently with the non-profit travel/education vendor. It’s entitled Following the Civil Rights Trail with Road Scholar. Nora Heston Tarte published several features in February including one in the Mercury News about spring training in Arizona entitled Arizona 2025: Where to stay, sip and eat during spring training this season. She also wrote the cover story in San Joaquin Magazine about hot air balloon experiences around the world called “Love is in the Air” as well as a six-page travel spread “48 Hours in the Tri-Valley” and “5 Ways to Explore Tuolumne County.”
