The Bay Area Book Festival was back in Berkeley for its 11th annual weekend-long book party. BATW had a booth there on Sunday June 1st. Our volunteers yapped with the dozens of folks who stopped by our booth to discuss BATW, our books as well as our fav subject TRAVEL!!! Hopefully we awakened some of global hearts!

Applying to Writing Residencies is a two-session online workshop hosted by Left Margin Lit and led by Faith Adiele, designed to help writers demystify the residency application process and craft compelling materials. Held on Saturdays, July 12 & 19, from 10 AM to 12 PM Pacific Coast Time via Zoom, the workshop guides participants through drafting artist statements and project descriptions, reviewing winning applications, and identifying residencies that fit their goals.
