“New Hiking Trails at Devil’s Slide” – News Panel with John Flinn and others
Pacifica will be the site for our Saturday, April 5, program due to the very timely news value of the opening of the Devil’s Slide hiking trails. Thanks go to Molly Blaisdell for arranging this meeting.
Who/What:
Pacifica will host a program that features the new hiking trails at Devil’s Slide, which will open on March 21, 2014 (the new tunnel opened in March 2013). The program will feature a panel that includes BATW Honorary member and former San Francisco Chronicle Travel Editor John Flinn; Director of San Mateo County Parks Marlene Finley; and a member of the USA Fish and Wildlife Service. Also on hand will be Karen Irvine of the Pacifica Mayor’s office and Pacifica Chamber of Commerce President Courtney Conlon.
