Have you ever wanted to write a children’s book? Or maybe you have an inspirational story that would be perfect for teen readers? Join us Saturday, March 15, for a panel discussion with three travel writers who’ve parlayed their expertise into crafting books for kids.
Authors Maxine Rose Schur, Kimberely Lovato, and Erin Deinzer will discuss the nitty gritty of writing for young readers. BATW’s Ruth Carlson will be the moderator. Topics for discussion will include how to write for children, crafting concepts and ideas that resonate with a younger audience, collaborating with an illustrator, finding a publisher, and the many other twists and turns that arise on the path to publishing a children’s book. A Q&A session will be held afterwards.
