Our BATW online travel magazine, BATW Stories of Culture, Travel & the World,
increased its readership by 210% during July. With 3,872 views and readers spending more than 120 hours exploring the wide variety of stories in July, the magazine now has had 5,724 readers in the first three months of publication.
Congratulations go to some writers who are hitting it particularly big: Lee Daley’s lovely story “Ogunquit: A Beautiful Place by the Sea” has had nearly two-thousand views, and nearly one-thousand have viewed David Laws’s fun story “Even the Logo was Phony: Big Sur Naval Base Cold War Secrets Revealed.”
We’re publishing about a dozen new, high-quality stories in August. You’ll find them at https://medium.com/batw-travel-stories. To read all the stories for free, click on the “friend links” in the “Contents & Friend Links to BATW Travel Stories Magazine” post.
So join the fun! To submit your finest stories, click on “Submission Guidelines” for details. Remember, submit only your best work. We’re creating a magazine of first-rate stories to promote our BATW members. We look forward to reading your excellent stories.
With best regards,
April Orcutt and Lee Daley (this month’s editors)
and Erin Deinzer, David Laws, and Karen Misuraca
