BATW will have a booth, this year, at the Bay Area Book Festival in Berkeley on May 6-7. It’s the 9th annual weekend-long book party with both indoor festival programs and an outdoor event on Sunday the 7th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. BATW authors will work the event on Sunday in booth #15 and BATW member Faith Adiele will be one of the celebrated speakers for the event. Thanks to Elaine Lee for making the arrangements and coordinating the volunteers to staff the booth. Thanks, too, to Matthew Eley and Jim Shubin who worked on the banners and flyers.
It will be BATW’s maiden voyage at this event and another big step towards trying to meet the BATW goal of expanding and diversifying our membership.
