Join us on January 13 at 5:30 p.m. to say goodbye to the year that’s gone (good riddance) and greet BATW’s year to come.
On the agenda: a review of our finances and membership, and a reveal of our plans for good things to come in 2021. We have some events and projects coming up we think you’ll really enjoy, such as a hands-on virtual cooking class with chef and author Linda Carucci; Tom Wilmer’s tutorial on the nuts and bolts of podcasting; our popular corporate marketplace and a day trip to Jack London State Park (Covid willing) plus much more.
And we want to hear from you as well, so bring your comments and questions. What would you like to see in our meetings and events? Keep in mind we’ll still be Zooming for several months at least. In fact, what do you think about continuing some Zoom meetings, even when we can meet in person again? It was great to see our members in Hawaii, New Zealand, Virginia and parts of the far-flung West. Would you like to see workshops and tutorials? Hear from editors and other writers? Connect with corporate members? More on cell phone photography? Video storytelling? What have we been doing right – and what would you like to see done differently?
So; bring a glass or cup of something celebratory, and hang around for Chatty Hour when the meeting is over. Want to comment anonymously? You can send comments and questions in advance to president@BATW.org – we won’t tell who you are.
And if you haven’t yet paid your 2021 membership dues, they are overdue. So hurry up to pay up and claim a pair of BATW argyle commemorative socks! They are going fast!
Date and Time: January 13, 5:30 p.m. (Zoom link will be coming by email)
Looking forward to the annual meeting.
