Carmel-by-the-Sea BATW Board Retreat Inspires Several Articles

The ocean, the architecture, the wine and the dog watching were four of the take-aways from January’s BATW Board of Directors retreat in Carmel. And while much work got done in planning for the future of BATW, several board members took time to write articles about their visit.

Matthew Ely had this uniquely poetic piece in The East by West: https://www.theeastbywest.com/home/salted-carmel-by-the-sea.
Tom Wilmer  hosted a lively radio interview on the history of Carmel with the third generation owner of the Hofsas House Inn: https://www.npr.org/podcasts/487364788/journeys-of-discovery-with-tom-wilmer.
Ginny Prior focused on Carmel-by-the-Sea as a destination for dogs and their human companions in two travel columns…one in the Mercury News and one in a trio of high demographic pubs (not online) in Montclair, Piedmont and Berkeley Living Magazines. Board member John Williamson took the photo for all Ginny’s columns, and below.
