Carole Barrow is a San Francisco-based writer specializing in features that highlight the beauty of the Bay Area and beyond. From Day-tripping in Marin, to Best Bay Area Beaches, to the Richmond District’s Restaurant Renaissance, her writing showcases some of Northern California’s most enriching experiences.
Carole has relished adventures throughout Latin America and Europe and has lived and studied in Mexico and Spain, earning a certificate of Advanced Spanish Studies from Enforex Language School: Madrid, Spain. In 2018, she traveled to Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Dubai, Zurich and several destinations within the U.S. and plans to chronicle her trips in upcoming publications.
Carole is Editor of South Bay Accent Magazine, an award-winning bimonthly lifestyles magazine written for the San Francisco South Bay Area region, including Silicon Valley, San Jose and the Peninsula.
Her commercial body of work ranges from biotech and life science writing to interior design marketing and social media management.
Thanks to her eclectic experience and keen curiosity she is always on the lookout for her next assignment.
