A letter from Laurie Armstrong Gossy:
After 22 years and four months, my time with San Francisco Travel will come to an end on July 31. It has been the most amazing gig a person could ask for and I am grateful to the entire team, past and present.
And thank you to the Bay Area Travel Writers for welcoming me and allowing me to join your adventures.
The best part of this job (outside of promoting one of the most beloved cities in the world) has been the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people – media, members, colleagues – who have also become dear friends. I hope our paths continue to cross.
In the short term, I’m working on the 2020 SATW Convention (and hope to “see” all of you members in October). Then I’ll be open to something new – consulting, writing, projects, ukulele lessons, who knows?
Please keep in touch: [email protected].
*Elisabeth Wieselthaler Toelly, VP Global PR & Media Relations, will continue as the primary media relations contact. She can be reached at [email protected].
Congratulations Laurie! Doesn’t sound like retirement is going to slow you down much.
Congrats, Laurie!!! I too hope to retire someday (maybe at 85…or so).
Best wishes,
MJ
