BATW members recently discovered that San Jose, California, has blossomed into an art-lover’s paradise! Public art enlivens every street in the city’s vibrant SOFA (South of First Area) district. On a recent visit BATW members enjoyed sculpture-lined streets and lively murals. Laurie McAndish King posted some of her San Jose mural shots on Destination Insights. By the way, the area used to be called “Valley of the Heart’s Delight,” which explains the mural with that name. And Laurie says, “San Jose is an exciting city, and our hearts were delighted on the walking tour, thanks to Team San Jose.”
