North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) has announced that Andrea Granahan has won the Gold Prize in the 30th Annual NATJA competition in the book category for The Wandering Widow.

“As NATJA celebrates 30 years of recognizing the best in travel journalism, we are proud of this year’s list of winners,” stated NATJA CEO, Helen Hernandez.

Laurie McAndish King’s book, An Elephant Ate My Arm: More True Stories from a Curious Traveler, earned an Independent Press Award (Distinguished Favorite).

Ginny Prior published two travel articles for BATW partners in March. Her piece on Corporate Partner Julie Wright’s client, Sirena Del Sol, ran in the March issue of Diablo Magazine and her article on Courtney DeGraff’s upcoming Pinot Fest in the Anderson Valley ran on eastbaytimes.com and in the Bay Area NewsGroup’s Hills Newspapers.
