Lalit Kumar was one of the featured poets for South Asian Literature and Arts Festival (SALA 2024 – https://www.salafestival.org/featured-artists ) held on Sep 28-29. This is a collaborative event co-organized by Art Forum SF and Stanford Center for South Asia. He spoke and read his travel & adventure poetry, esp. from his book ‘Yosemite of My Hearts’.

Ginny Prior explored three Blue Zone Project counties in California for the October issue of Diablo Magazine. She collaborated with BATW corporate partner and board member Laurie Armstrong Gossy on covering one of the counties, and also highlighted the town of Upper Lake, which hosted a BATW board retreat a few years back.
