Elaine Lee presented a travel writing class, “From Journey to Journalist” at the 2026 SF Bay Area Travel and Adventure Show, which was held on 3/21-22 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

Lee also has an article in this month’s Road Scholar newsletter entitled, “Freedom & Inspiration: What Elaine Lee Loves Most About Solo Travel”. Read it here. In addition, Sister’s Sanctuary of AARP featured Lee’s, “Go Girl 2: The Black Women’s Book of Travel and Adventure” in the March edition of their newsletter, which was dedicated to travel. The section was called “Good Reads for Globetrotters!”

Erin Deinzer published two recent articles – one for Mount Baker Experience on the Tucson Loop bike riding trail (read here), and the other on the reopening of The Huntington Hotel for 7×7 (read here). The assignment from 7X7 Magazine was a result of our October BATW editors panel.
