Courtney DeGraff is the Executive Director for the Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association (AVWA). She arrived sight unseen in Anderson Valley, California, in 2017 after leaving a career in the financial services industry in Boston and accepting a wine business internship with Foursight Wines.
She performed a marketing and sales role with the small family winery until she began with the AVWA in 2019, which synchronistically aligned with her ultimate wine industry career aspirations. As Executive Director she is responsible for coordinating education and marketing and promotion of the wine region, including organizing events, managing marketing, assisting media, and performing member relations and fundraising. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, meeting new people and photography.
