Kim Bardakian is the founder of BarCom Communications and co-founder of Town Love—two ventures rooted in community, creativity, and connection.
Through BarCom, Kim offers strategic communications and community outreach, drawing on 25+ years of experience in media, events, and relationship building. Her work has supported organizations like Visit Oakland, Ronald McDonald House, Northeastern University Oakland and more.
With Town Love, Kim and her co-founder curate custom gift boxes filled with Bay Area-made goods from women- and minority-owned businesses—like those featured during NBA All-Star Weekend. It’s all about promoting local small businesses, one box at a time.
A proud New Yorker-turned-Oaklander and a University of Michigan alum, Kim is deeply involved in civic life and the Armenian community—and is always building bridges between people, purpose, and place.
