Danalynne Wheeler Menegus is the managing editor of Corporate Event News, an online publication for corporate event professionals produced by Tarsus Media. She is a frequent contributor to CEN’s sister publication TSNN (Trade Show News Network) and is also a freelance writer, editor, and marketing consultant with 25 years of experience in B2B technology marketing.
Danalynne grew up in the Boston area, but after attending college in snowy Maine and moving back to Massachusetts for a few years, realized she’d never accept cold winters. Then an event manager, she often traveled to San Francisco for business and felt an affinity with the Bay Area. In 2001, with urging from East Bay friends, she made her way west and currently resides in Pinole.
After spending the majority of her marketing career in roles which required a significant amount of written and verbal communications (and being labeled “the red pen” by more than one of her teams), Danalynne began her freelance career in 2017 and started writing for Corporate Event News shortly thereafter. Travel/destinations and technology are her two favorite writing subjects.
In what little spare time she has, Danalynne enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and drinking craft beer. She also indiscriminately loves cats.
