Wildhaven Yosemite Opens Near Yosemite National Park Providing Exciting New Glamping Option for Exploring the Region
Wildhaven will offer 42 glamping tents and cabins on a picturesque property with unparalleled nature views
MARIPOSA, CA, April 15, 2024 – Panoramic valley views, gorgeous walking trails, cozy cabins, and spacious tents – welcome to Wildhaven Yosemite. The area’s brand-new glamping property offers a comfortable and clean alternative to camping, less than an hour from Yosemite National Park and just a mile from downtown Mariposa. Wildhaven’s experience provides the customer service of a hotel while preserving the experience of spending the night outside in nature.
“We are thrilled to welcome guests to Wildhaven Yosemite, where nature meets convenience in one of the world’s most iconic destinations,” said Ken Barber, co-owner of Wildhaven Yosemite and Wildhaven Sonoma. “From our outstanding customer service, premium amenities, and exceptional spaces to gather with family and friends, we look forward to welcoming visitors to experience Wildhaven and create lifelong memories.”
The property offers 12 cabins and 30 tents, outfitted to ensure a comfortable stay. Guests are encouraged to hike the property’s nature trail that provides views down onto nearby Mariposa, east toward snow-capped peaks, and across miles of rolling hills. The hilltop pergola is situated to provide spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset – or gather with friends and a glass of wine. The clubhouse is set to feature amenities to enhance every stay, including local food, wine, beer, and cider; kits to make S’mores and BBQ meals, and other fresh picnic items to take into the national park.
Wildhaven’s cabins come in both studio and one-bedroom models, all with electricity, heat, and AC. The studios can accommodate a family with a queen bed and up to three twins in an upstairs loft. The one-bedroom options feature a queen bed and a futon sofa. They all have a small kitchen, bathroom with shower and a private outdoor seating area with a fire pit. The most striking feature are the huge picture windows that allow guests an incredible view even when they’re inside.
Tents come with one or two queen beds, or a queen with two sets of bunk beds for larger families. Many of the tents are nestled among the trees with gas fire pits on large covered decks, letting guests immerse themselves in the great outdoors.
The convenient location just one mile from downtown Mariposa puts guests close to great museums, diverse restaurants, cool boutiques, and fun places to unwind after a full day of exploring Yosemite or hiking in the nearby foothills. Wildhaven has announced several entertaining options for guests starting this summer, including on-site yoga classes, live music, and local wine and cider tastings. All of the activities
will be held outdoors at WIldhaven’s ridgetop event space, surrounded by natural beauty.
