Rosie Cohan had two stories published in October, one in an online literary journal and another in an anthology.

Cohan’s story about her work in post-war Kosovo, “Reconciliation” appears in the October issue of the online literary journal AboutPlace.org. https://aboutplacejournal.org/issues/works-of-resistance-resilience/notions-of-home-and-borders/rosie-cohan/.

It describes post-war Kosovo, building trust and finding common ground, and the struggle to find authentic reconciliation after ethnic cleansing and historical tensions between Orthodox Christian Serbs and Muslim Albanian Kosovars.

Her story “Yusuf’s Wedding Celebration” appears in the 2020 anthology “Stories That Need to Be Told”, by Tuliptree Publishing. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L84DKFM/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Stories+that+need+to+be+told+2020&qid=1602798864&s=books&sr=1-1.

The wedding celebration takes place in Eastern Turkey on the day after Turkish President Erdogan ended the ceasefire between the PKK (Kurdish Workers Party) and the Turkish Government.
