BATW members meet on Mare Island, Sunday, September 20th for a private tour that blends old and new. This guided experience from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. will hit all the highlights, including the historical St. Peters Chapel and other buildings preserved as part of the naval shipyard’s legacy. Cost will be $20/per person (typically $25/pp).

11:00: St. Peters Chapel Tour (first third of history tour)
11:35: Drive 1/2 mile to Historic Core
11:45 Historic Car (second part of history tour).
12:15: Quick whiskey tasting for group at Redwood Empire Whiskey (in historic core)
12:45 Drive 3/4 mile to Brewery
1:00 Third part of history tour, Mare Island Brewing Co.
1:20/1:30 Adjourn and people can do lunch or pints or head home.
