September Meeting, San Francisco: Saturday, Sept. 21 (There is no August meeting)
Morton Beebe, photographer extraordinaire, will present his photographs and experience from his most recent trip with National Geographic Expeditions to China. Mort spent three weeks photographing from Beijing to Shanghai. Mort’s presentation is China-The Wall Builders Now Erect Towers. The September 21 meeting is in the conference center of Morton Beebe’s condominium complex at 150 Lombard St, San Francisco. There is plenty of street parking.
Schedule:
10:00 – 10:30 a.m. Meet and greet with coffee and bagels.
10:30 – 11:00 a.m. BATW meeting
11:00 – 12:00 p.m. – Morton Beebe’s presentation
12 p.m. Meeting ends. Lunch on own. Hillstone Restaurant is two blocks away and
Pier 23 has outdoor dining, on their deck facing the cruise ships.
Location: Telegraph Landing, 150 Lombard St. The cross Street is Sansome Street just below Telegraph Hill.
Parking: Street parking (metered and un-metered).
Mass Transit: The F and E Street car stops along the Embarcadero are one block away.
