BATW Author, publisher and hiker extraordinaire Susan Alcorn will be leading us on a discovery of the San Francisco Botanical Gardens, tentatively set for May 30 or 31. This Golden Gate Park destination features 55-acres of colorful blooms and exotic plants showcasing 8,000 specimens from around the world.
Susan & her husband Ralph have trekked over 3000 miles of the Camino se Santiago, walked Italy’s Cinque Terre, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, and completed the Pacific Crest Trail, the John Muir Trail and numerous paths around San Francisco.
