Erin Deinzer continues to contribue to Mount Baker Experience with the publication of two articles in their fall issue—one on outrigger canoeing in Maui, and one on birdwatching in British Columbia. Molly Blaisdell is bringing in several BATW members for a November 15 event at the Clift Hotel’s legendary Redwood Room. The historic hotel is reintroducing itself as a place to honor history, culture, and community. The inaugural events will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 6:00 p.m. and Friday, November 15 at 5:00 p.m. in the Clift’s legendary Redwood Room. November’s featured speakers include:

- Ruth Carlson, travel journalist and author of Secret San Francisco
- Maria Lenhart, award-winning travel writer and author of Lost Treasures of San Francisco

Yvonne Michie Horn is pleased to announce the release of her 100 Things to Do in Sonoma County Before You Die, Second Edition.
